Nisha’s Journey to Pink

Hello all, I’ve been gone so long and have had so much of life going on that I don’t know where to start. I wanted to take time away from writing in order to get R.A.W Enrichment Center off the ground. The grand opening day was scheduled for June 27th and hours before I was due to have the open house I received a call that my father passed from cancer.

Now being that cancer is not an overnight disease that just steals you overnight, I thought I was prepared for his passing. I learned the hard way that you are never really prepared.

My fathers passing has started a series of events. It made me sit down and reevaluate my life and priorities. I was completely honest with myself and found some areas I was lagging in due to my own personal fears. You see I had found a lump on my sternum a few years ago and before I had my daughter even had the ultrasounds and mammograms completed. But I never went any further than this. My rational was that I was just to busy but in reality it was fear.  I started thinking of the women that I dealt with  and all the areas that they were held back due to their fear, their lack of resources and/or support.

I started working on A New You Women’s Conference as a form of therapy and motivation. The Conference will promote Breast Cancer Awareness and also deal with financing a home, insurance ,wills and trust, fitness training, make-up and image. I  was blessed to have a group of local business women come together to provide the resources and information that can help propel a woman forward.

We will be giving away a mini makeover worth approx. $500.00 inluding hair, make up application and image consultation.

The Ultimate Giveaway is worth approx. $6000.00 includes a years worth of life and credit coaching, fitness training as well as the mini makeover. This is sure to change one blessed woman’s life. I hope that woman is you! For more information on the giveaways and tickets email info.anewyou@ymail.compartial proceeds will be going toA Charity for Hope helping local women in Burlington,Camden, Gloucestor Counties with breast cancer by providing monetary assistance for things such as co-payments to a night on the town.

By the Grace of God I have been able to work through my own issues by working with some great women to try to impact the life of others. Everything is indeed for HIS Glory.

I had my operation on Thursday and will find out next week what it is or is not. And I know that HE is holding on to me as HE holds on to you.

Be blessed and talk to you next week.
